How do I know if I need therapy?
Sometimes it is worth having an initial session to understand whether you think the process will be useful to you or not.
Will you put me under pressure to talk about things that I do not want to?
Definitely not. My practice is based upon equality and connection. We will go at the pace that you set and that feels safe for you. Part of the ongoing process of us developing our working alliance is understanding your pace.
If I start therapy will I have to keep going for years?
I offer short and long term therapy. You will decide how long you continue and this will be part of an ongoing and open discussion throughout the process.
